JC'S would like to thank all of our customers for showing up and supporting us our last week. We felt the love as you kicked our butts every night. We loved hearing your stories and memories and all the hugs and well wishes.
A big Thank You to our Kempton family who all came across from Indiana one more time for JC'S food. We loved seeing you all and appreciate your support. It was a wonderful surprise.
Thank you to GFS, Nickles, and The Pit Stop for going out of thier way to keep us stocked up as we were running everyday to replenish our supplies.
I have to let you know when Phil and Paula started Big P's 41 years ago they brought thier microwave up to the shop (bought it at Sears at the mall, remember that?) and we have used it everyday for all of these years. The Health Inspections always said when we replaced the microwave it had to be commercial. On our last Friday night it stopped on us. How ironic it went out with us. Good job Whirlpool it was used everyday. We were all sad. Thanks though to Jesse and Alana Butler who ran home and lent us one for 2 days.
Are phone was off the hook as much as it was on just trying to keep up. The crew was amazing and they all showed up with smiles and tears. Couldn't have done this without you all and my heart is full of pride as we closed this chapter out with a bang.
Thank you LaRue for being a part of my life and I will be seeing you around. I love you in pizzas from my head to-ma-toes!

We have been overwhelmed with the oupouring of support. If you have tried to call and cant get thru it maybe because we have had to take the phone off the hook just to get caught up. (Not that it mattered because you just came in to order lol) This Sunday being it is our last day we are going to open at 2:00 to hopefully give everyone a chance for a last pie. We might be running out of a few items by then. We dont want to be left with a lot of stock. If you come in for ice-cream and we are swamped it might be awhile until we get to you. I am hoping we will have enough help on Sunday this wont happen. If you had a picture hanging on our 'Wall Of Fame' please stop in and pick it up. Thank you all again for all of the love and support.

It is with a broken heart that I have to announce the closing of JC's Pizza. Due to more structural damage recently found, it has been determined the building is no longer safe.
This has been a very challenging last 3 years and after 41 years of being at the shop, it is time to say goodbye.
I worked with/for Phil and Paula Wright for 16 years and bought it from them in 2000. My four daughters have been there by my side for all of these years. My dream was to always pass this down to them to own, but that is not possible now.
This whole situation should never have happened and I tried for many years for the mayor and council to uphold the ordinance that no one can live in the downstairs of a downtown business but got no where. It was never a question of if something happens, but when, and when it did, they tucked their tails and crawled away. I call you yellow. For the past 3 years I have been shunned by a handful of people. After the fire I cried for the first couple of months not knowing about the shops future, but also by being treated like I caused or started this fire. I tried to prevent this accident. So for all of you who haven't talked to me in the past 3 years, keep it that way. With friends like you who needs enemies. I feel like I have been F* # Over Royally Dailey for these past years.
To all of my customers, I appreciate your loyal support and it has been my privilege to have served you. Some families I can say I have served 4 generations.
To Dawn and my sister Lori, Thank You for all the good times and fun we have had at work. (Dawn somethings we will keep between us) You were always there when I needed you.
To my daughters, you mean more to me then anything. It was always nice knowing you couldn't call off work and I loved working with you all. Jessica and Jodi you have always stepped up and gave me a lot of your time. Jonda and Jeanette you were great back-ups and could step right in without any training. I love you all dearly.
To my grandkids, Cameron, Callie, and Larissa I am glad we got to teach you the business and loved giving you your 1st job and loved working with you.
To Melinda Mosley (mayor of New Bloomington) and Kyle Dewitt (mayor of Green Camp) Thank you for your continuous support and concern of the shop.
Finally, a big Thank you to Tyler Howell for keeping me updated on everything that has been going on, checking on us, and being a loyal customer. You are much appreciated.
I will now start a new chapter of my life and take a much needed vacation but I will always treasure my time at the shop because it was never a job, it was my passion. With that all being said we are planning on Sunday, March 22 being our last day of business.
