Happy TGIF Everyone!! Chef Mario’s last batch of his famous Delicious Pork Carnitas are being made today Friday. Will be available by the pound same as last time $14 per pound. Come and get as many as you’d like to Stock up, freeze and refrigerate all you want to enjoy whenever you’d like. After this batch I will not have any more as we only have 7 business days left before Permanently Closing down. Chef’s Special today will be the Carnitas 3 Street Tacos plate with refried beans, Mexican rice and side of fresh guacamole for $13 plate. It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I bring you this bad news today. After several days of much thought and consideration, I have decided to announced my decision to Close down Delicias Tamales & Authentic Mexican Food as of February 28, 2023, which will be my last Taco Tuesday here in La Junta.

The beginning of this new year 2023 didn’t get off to a good start with increasing high prices for restaurant products, very high utilities costs and decreasing demands which are some of the factors that have contributed to this decision. Also, the business of “Life“ has gotten in the way and therefore collectively and exhaustively I’ve decided to move on to other things in my Life.

This wonderful little town welcomed me with open arms back in November 2021 and I immediately felt the outpouring of love and support from every cross section of these wonderful communities and for that I am very Blessed, thankful and grateful.
My original goal was to provide the best quality and authentic Mexican food, with the best friendly service which I hope I’ve done and did not disappoint.

I will still be open with my regular business days and hours for the remainder of February until the 28th.
I invite Everyone to continue to come out, support and enjoy all your favorites for as many times as you wish.
I will continue to serve each and everyone of you with a happy, grateful heart and big Smile as always.

Thank you All once again with all my heart and I hope to see you all this coming Taco Tuesday.

We are Reopening tomorrow Taco Tuesday 7th 11am!! I just received this morning my Fresh Product Order from my Distributor, we are restocked & ready to Rock!! I was pleasantly surprised that they had one of my favorite Fresh meat products in stock and received 2 full cases of it. As you can see from the pictures & guess what it is? That’s our Special for this Wednesday and until Sold Out during the week. Missed you All and looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. 👍🏽👊🏽👏🏽
