Born in Tokyo with inspiration from the sushi bars of Ginza and the Southern California lifestyle, Himitsu introduces Japanese culture, design, hospitality to San Diego with the guidance of restaurateur Edo Kobayashi. Our 8-person bar and 20 person outdoor patio is located in a discreet corner of La Jolla, a setting well suited for our name which translates to “secret” in Japanese. Chef Mitsu Aiha

An extensive sake list is accompanied by select natural wines and essential Japanese and local craft beers.
