We’ve got a special visitor at The LA Café yesterday looking for donations for this year’s Pumpkin Chunkin! 😊

We are officially a donation drop off location and have a collection box right here at the café! They’re looking for non perishable food items like canned goods, dried foods, boxed items, and other shelf stable foods that can be safely stored at room temperature.

🥫 Bring a donation with you the next time you stop in for your coffee, lunch, or afternoon pick me up and help us FILL THIS BOX!

All donations will go toward supporting the LCS team & our community ❤️

📦 Donations will be collected October 13th, so we have a couple weeks to see just how full we can get this thing!

Grab a can, grab a coffee, and help us give back.
Let’s show them what our little community can do! 🫶🏼

25 years later and we still remember.

This morning we have the reading of the names playing here at The LA Café, a reminder that behind every number was a name, a family, a friend and most importantly a life.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, and the countless heroes whose sacrifices continued long after that day.

Today isn’t about a special or a promotion. It’s simply a day to remember.

God bless the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the Americans that still feel that sting today.

And most importantly, God bless America 🇺🇸
