Hey Friends!! I’m looking for a little help from the community. I’ve been here just over a year now, and I’d love some history on the pub.

Prior to purchase, I’d enlisted the help of the La Crosse Public Library Archives Dept. We were able to determine that the pub dates back to the late 1800s. It has operated under multiple names including:
Short Stop Bar
Adams St Pub
Teddy Bears
Bendel’s Bar
Joe’s Silver Dollar Bar
Bentzen’s Pit
John’s Place
Ray’s Tavern
Frank’s
Saloons and Sample Rooms

If you know any history, please hit me up. Share this with family or friends that might have an old pic(s) of the place. I’d love to display them in the pub!
