❤️ A LITTLE THANK YOU & TACO LIBRE UPDATE! 🌮
WOW! Where do we even begin?! 🥹❤️ It’s been a little over a week since we started our GoFundMe, and thanks to YOU, we’ve already reached MORE THAN HALF of our goal!!!

From all the loving words and messages to the Venmo and GoFundMe donations, we seriously cannot thank you enough. Every donation, every share, and every single person who has checked in on us means more than you’ll ever know. You guys have helped us TREMENDOUSLY, and we are forever grateful! 🫶🏽

NOW FOR A LITTLE FOOD TRUCK UPDATE! 🌮🔧
We’re still dealing with insurance, BUT WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS!
We’ve officially found the three people we need to get our food truck back up and running! One to repair the roof, one to tackle the electrical work, and one to fix our fridge! We’re finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel! There’s still work to be done, but we’re getting there, one step at a time.
WE CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK TO IT!!! We miss serving you, seeing your faces, and doing what we love SOOOOO MUCH! 🥹🌯

We started on the South Side, made our way to the West Side, and now it’s time to show some love to our North Shore ʻohana! 🤙🏽

TOMORROW (Saturday) we’ll be serving up 200 FREE burritos for North Shore families.

TACO LIBRE WINS THE GUAC-OFF 2026!!! 🥑🏆
WE TOOK HOME BOTH AWARDS! 🔥

We went head to head with 20 other competitors in a completely blind taste test. Every guac was put into a numbered cup. No names, no businesses, no hints. It was so anonymous that WE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW FOR SURE WHICH ONE WAS OURS 😂

There were two awards up for grabs:
🥑 People’s Choice
👨‍🍳 Chef Judges’ Choice
AND TACO LIBRE WON BOTH!!! 🏆🏆

Huge mahalo to and for putting on such an awesome event and bringing everyone together to support KKCR, especially after they helped keep our island informed when we needed it most. ❤️

Taco Libre needs your help. ❤️
The past week has been a lot. After the hurricane, we knew we wanted to do whatever we could to help our community. But unfortunately we were dealing with damage of our own.

Our food truck was damaged during the hurricane. A roof leak caused electrical problems, and we believe with the power surges it caused our refrigerator to stop working properly, we lost our food, and right now Taco Libre is unable to operate.

We’re trying to raise enough to repair the truck, replace what was lost, and get Taco Libre back open so we can get back to doing what we love, feeding all of you!

If you’re able to donate, anything helps. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this video means just as much to us.

We love you guys, and we can’t wait to get back to work. ❤️🌯
