Y’all I have not made chicken salad since we closed Shandi’s. Again I am reminded of Teresa Allen this morning and I thought about how many times over the past 3 years she made chicken salad….the answer is ALOT!!! I could picture her standing beside me in our little kitchen where we spent so much time together. I sure do miss her and for all of you that I used to serve and talk to at the shop…I miss you too!!

Well my home away from home the past 6 years is now empty but my heart is full. God gave me this place when I needed freedom to raise my son and be there for him. He doesn’t need me now like he used to so I’m thankful this day came at a time I could be at peace with closing. Greyson and I were cleaning and loading up the last little bit of stuff this afternoon and looking at him lifting and loading and helping like a young man took me back to the little first grader he was when I first opened. It goes by quick. He is now a teenager…Lord help me!! Life is different now and that is ok. New chapters, new adventures, new people, new memories and a new job (well kinda..going back to my original job I had when Greyson was born)
Thankful for all God had in store for my future. ❤️

I can’t believe I’m actually making this post but life happens and we just have to make the best of it!! The shop is closing for good as some of you may know. We are selling everything!!!! We will be there Thursday 12-5 and Friday, Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-4. Even if you don’t want to buy anything feel free to stop by and say Hello…especially all of our regular customer aka family members. I would love to hug your neck one last time. 😘

Tomorrow was supposed to be our final day but we are going to have to close. We had a pipe burst in the back room and we have no water. I’m sorry this happened but stay tuned I will post about the sale in a few days once we get this figured out. Have a great weekend!! Happy New Year ❤️
