Happy International Coffee Day!
Here's today's fun facts about coffee ☕:
1⃣ It is thought that coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia. 🇪🇹 The story? A 9th century goat herder noticed that his goats were acting a bit crazy after eating the plant and he began experimenting.
2️⃣ In 1983, the All Japan Coffee Association organized an event to unify and promote the growth of the coffee industry - improving the diet of the Japanese people. 🇯🇵
3⃣ International Coffee Day was acknowledged in 2015 in Milan Italy to help raise awareness for the plight of coffee farmers and to promote fair trade and living wages. 🇮🇹

Though we have many global differences, it seems the importance of coffee is one of the things we can agree on.

We’re starting the year off strong with not one, but TWO new coffees!

Uganda Natural- This coffee from the Rwenzori region is a balanced natural with pleasant notes of blueberry and almond, and a tea-like resemblance. We’re serving it on espresso in the shops!

The washed Kenya AA is deeeelicious as well. It’s got your favorite tones of honeyed stone fruits, but also a rich darkness to it reminiscent of molasses. It’s awesome on pour over or drip coffee.
