Day 15 of 30 celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month takes us to Susana’s Café, where they serve Costa Rican coffee and make it using my favorite method: the vandola. It’s a ceramic pour-over, brewed slowly by hand, and the coffee comes out so smooth and aromatic. Have you ever tried one?

I also love the story behind the café. Susana Martínez is from Ecuador, worked as an accountant for 17 years, and then started this new chapter with her husband. And yes, you can come hungry too: Susana’s won Best Breakfast in Orlando in 2024 and 2025. 🫶
