Hello everyone!!

Just want to let you all know that the El Flamingo has relocated and is now located at The Southern Dimes old location. If you get a chance go buy and support this local restaurant. We have had their food several times and it was amazing!! Service was phenomenal and you will not regret stopping by!! We will definitely be stopping by very soon! 🤤😊

Let me address something..

I didn’t want to close this restaurant, I didn’t ruin anything ma’am!

I am not tired of it, you have no idea what your talking about!

You go buy a restaurant and pay the bills, employees, buy supplies and cook for the public and then you can have an opinion!

I had a business partner in this restaurant, I was asked to come in and take it over because he owned it before me!

We decided to give it a try and my business partner decided to close it (who owns the building)

It’s not my place to tell their business!

#2 do not jump on facebook running me down when you know nothing about the situation!!

I was offered the chance to continue under a different agreement and decided to decline for my own reasons!

Sir in the comments, AGAIN YOU ARE IGNORANT TO MY SITUATION!

We ran and operated the Cabin for 4 years and the owners of that property had issues come up with their ONCE AGAIN personal business and we decided in agreement to end our contract with one another! (Good people) because after 4 years we were ready to move on!

I owe you no explanation, I owe you nothing however I will tell you one thing I put everything I had into this place regardless of what issues I had going on in the background that the public knew nothing about!

How dare both of you judge a book by its cover!

If you want breakfast so badly cook it at your own damn house but don’t you dare get on facebook running my name down!

Good morning Dime Customers,

It is with a heavy heart that I will be making this post. The Southern Dime will be closed until further notice.

To be clear it is no fault on mine and Roberts behalf, our staff, or our customers!

You all are amazing and business was great!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have decided not to continue operating the restaurant at this time.

This has been a hard decision!

No one is more upset than we are after all we have done and tried to do to make this restaurant the best it can be!

The staff we had working with us was so amazing, dedicated and passionate about what we were doing. They worked just as hard if not harder to help us and I am so grateful for them! I will miss working with them everyday!

I am not sure what the future holds for The Southern Dime or what Robert and I plan on doing but praying that one day we will find the right fit for us.

No matter what people will make assumptions but the truth is there are things that go on beyond the food, customers, and staff that are beyond our control and we have to do what is best for us.

To our customers, you all have been so supportive and a pleasure to serve! I will miss so many wonderful people that have started to become a part of our daily or weekly lives. There are no words to express what joy it was having each and everyone of you there for this short journey!

No buffet this weekend, currently we are working on 1 issue at a time trying to fix it. We are nearly completed with the new A/C and then we will focus on the steam table. Thank you for bearing with us and understanding while we continue to improve one issue at a time.
