Let’s talk about the Thorntons!

These folks were our friends long before HOW II ever opened its doors, and we’re tickled to say that all these years later, they’re still our friends—and most definitely family!

If you ever need to find them, we can give you a pretty good starting point. Come by HOW II on a Thursday night and check the end of the bar! Unless something else is going on, chances are you’ll find them right there, holding down their usual spot.

Mr. Steve likes to see what soup we’re featuring and give the special of the day a try. Ms. Glenda has perfected her Shrimp Lo Mein—she orders mushrooms and onions on the side and adds them right in. Lonnie is a bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries kind of guy. And Alex? Well, if you know Alex, you know her order varies—she keeps us guessing!

But what they order isn’t nearly as important as what they’ve brought to our restaurant over the years: friendship, loyalty, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of good Thursday nights.

We sure do love the Thorntons, and we’re proud to claim them as part of our HOW II family! ❤️
