❤️ RIP to the iconic Bob Barker. Bob stopped eating meat more than three decades ago. repost from Jenny 💪🏽 This is what a legend looks like:

Just months shy of his 100th birthday, Bob passed away in LA today. Though most people remember him as the host of The Price is Right, to many of us, he was an icon for different reasons: animal activism.

His list of heroism for animals is too long to list, but a few highlights include:

- Bob lobbied hard against SeaWorld and capturing live animals for entertainment. He would go on to fight for robust rules and regulations for Hollywood's use of animals in film and entertainment.

- Bob funded the opening of PETA's California HQ in 2012, named the Bob Barker Building. His generosity was legendary and his donations, often listed anonymously, provide funds to animal activists around the world.

- Bob was a Navy veteran who fought against the use of cruel animal exploitation and slaughter in US military training.

- Bob supported numerous Mercy For Animals investigations into cruelty on factory farms, and often appeared in press conferences for the organization.

Bob's life can be summarized by this quote (I'm sure some avid readers will know this one):

"If you want to see the true measure of a man, watch how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

This wonderful man deserves your pardon and his freedom Steven has been legally fighting for Chevron to clean up their oil spill and provide restitution to the indigenous peoples so they can restore their land, health & communities. His legal case won. Than the devil’s advocate kicked in. Not only did Chevron overreach in the most brutal manner and refused to pay, they used their connections to gag, imprison and disbar Steven Donziger. Yes this is happened in NY, yes in America. Recently he was released from prison, he still fights for his freedom. Please sign the petition & do not use Chevron if you can. There is absolutely no reason why this company cannot pay for its own damage? Bizarre behavior by Chevron.
