Another great week wrapped up Team 60! Projects is in full swing, learning for new members, and gearing up for Downtown Kingman First Fridays (both booth and manning barricades) and Mohave County Fair! Lots on our plate this month!

🎃 Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Candy Crawls Are Coming! 🍭

Join us for our annual Candy Crawl events, hosted by our Mohave County Sheriff's Office Public Outreach Program, and help us create a safe, fun Halloween experience for local youth!

📍 Kingman: October 30- Mohave County Sheriff's Office
📍 Lake Havasu City: October 31- The Shops at Lake Havasu

We’re seeking community support through donations of candy, decorations, and funding to keep these beloved events going strong. Your generosity helps us provide a safe trick‑or‑treat environment alongside public safety, partner agencies, fire services, and local organizations.

We’re also looking for volunteers for setup, character cast roles, booth operations, and tear‑down, a fun and rewarding way to get involved!

🙏 Thank you to our donors and volunteers who make these events possible each year. Your support truly makes a difference for families across Mohave County!

And so begins a new year!

Last night Team 60 was manning the barricades again for Downtown Kingman’s First Friday hosted by Kingman Chamber of Commerce. It was hot but a great time nonetheless! Love helping our community and so many organizations that have given to us for 30 years! Let that sink in. 30 years! We’ve been going strong for 30 years! Building careers and great human beings for 30 years! These community service opportunities help the students earn their required community service hours for travel during build season! Thanks!

A big shout out to Honeyrolls Ice Cream from Las Vegas and Brooklyn Rice and Soul! Your kindness is so appreciated! Thank you!

See you all again for September First Friday! We will be doing double duty then - manning barricades and we will have a booth with robot(s) running!

This morning FRC Team 60 Bionic Bulldogs and FTC Team 14436 Roaring Robotics met with Board of Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter and Chris and Sarah and crew from Mohave County Community Development Services. Both FIRST teams were awarded scholarships by the department this past year. Our partnership will continue with funding and support with Community Development Services program. Thank you for always advocating for our youth! They are our future! YOU ROCK!

The raffle is open to individuals 21 years of age or older. One (1) raffle entry will be provided for each qualifying purchase made at a participating Downtown Kingman retail business or service provider located between 10th Street and Interstate 40 on Friday, August 7, 2026. Receipt or Proof of Purchase must be shown at the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce First Fridays Booth on Friday, August 7th, 2026 before 8:30pm to redeem for a raffle ticket. (1) Receipt for ANY Purchase amount = (1) Raffle Ticket. One winner will be selected by random drawing at 9:00pm on Friday, August 7th 2026 to receive the collection of donated gift cards. Gift cards are subject to the individual merchant's terms and conditions and are not redeemable for cash through the Chamber.
