A big win for La Cocina, our merchants and our community! Tonight we received approval for a permanent permit to continue service to the community on Wednesdays & Fridays. Thank you to the City of King, Planning Commission & all of our supporters. We are happy we can continue to support the livelihoods of our small business owners, provide a safe and community-centered venue for gatherings, and of course, delicious food. Thank you to our merchants, Margarita Lopez, and Sam Smith and his Chalone Peaks Leadership students who made public comments before the commission. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and supported these efforts.

Felicidades a los comerciantes de La Cocina y nuestra comunidad. Hoy día recibimos una decisión positiva acerca de nuestra petición para un permiso permanente para nuestro mercado. Todo fue posible por el liderazgo de Tina Lopez y el apoyo de nuestros comerciantes, Margarita Lopez, y la comunidad. Gracias a los jovenes de la escuela Chalone Peaks quienes presentaron frente la comisión. Muchísimas gracias.
