Today I had detail my work van and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Jesse and his partner were actually two of my original customers when I started the business in 2024, so it was pretty special to have them taking care of Hudson Meal Co this time around.

They spent hours on the van and treated it like it was their own. The service was convenient, professional, and meticulous from start to finish. They went to town on my van and It’s easy to see why they’ve built such a great reputation. If you need your vehicle detailed, I highly recommend them. Nostalgia this afternoon with our take on Spaghetti-O’s and meatballs. Our creamy San Marzano red sauce with mini Italian meatballs tossed with pasta rings and a side of grated Romano.

A fun dish available next week. For the kid or the adults!

Today is my 40th birthday and marks ten years alcohol-free.

A decade ago, I made a decision that changed everything, even though I couldn’t fully see what was on the other side of it. The life I have today is greater than anything I could have imagined when I was deep in in the darkness of the addiction.

I’m in a loving, committed relationship with the love of my life. My son is thriving, and we get to share our lives together every day. I’ve built a business that I’m proud of, one that challenges me, fulfills me, and gives me purpose.

None of this would exist if I had stayed on the path I was on.

Asking for help was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it’s what made all of this possible. I didn’t do it alone and I’m deeply grateful for my partner, my family, and my friends who stood by me through it all.

Ten years later, I don’t just have a different life. I have a life I actually want to be present for.

Thank you for the birthday wishes and thank you for standing by me when I needed it the most.

Weekly ritual at home with our pizza stone. At least once a week, we each make own personal pies and we do a family pizza party.
