From serving plates to chasing dreams — I’ve always believed that every season has a purpose. Shipyard has been more than a restaurant…….it’s been a home, a family and a story that brought this community together. As one chapter closes, another begins…
I’m proud to share that my next adventure is hitting the big screen “The Kilgore Cowboy”, a film that was born right here in our town and inspired by real life, real people and real dreams. We’ll be announcing the official red carpet premiere soon 🎟️🔥 and I want everyone who ever supported this place to be a part of it. Because this story — just like Shipyard — belongs to all of us.

Thank you for the love, the laughs and the loyalty.
Now it’s time to tell our story in a whole new way.

📢 Important Update from Shipyard Liberty City
🚨 Effective immediately 🚨

Hey y’all 🙏🏾 I just want to be transparent with everyone.

This week our dinner hours have been really slow some days we’ve had between 1–5 customers and a few nights none at all. I’ve been covering costs out of pocket just to keep dinner running until we close for good but it’s simply not sustainable right now.
I just had to make the tough call and permanently relieve my night staff prematurely 😞

We will only be open for lunch (11 AM – 2 PM).
Dinner service will no longer be open.

I truly appreciate everyone who’s supported. Every bit of it matters. 🙏🏾

❤️ Shipyard Liberty City Announcement:

Shipyard Liberty City will be open our normal hours — Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM – 2 PM this week and next week.

Our last day of business will be Thursday, October 30th, as we officially close the doors. 🙏🏾

I’ll be announcing the giveaway day toward the end of next week — I want to see as many familiar faces as possible before we wrap this chapter. 💛

Thank y’all for every meal, every memory and every bit of love and support along the way. This community made Shipyard what it is and that means everything 💯

For the families who don’t always get the chance to eat out because times are tough and priorities come first ☝️ this one’s for y’all.

As we close out our final week of opening this month, I’ll be posting a day soon where meals will be completely on the house. No charge. No questions. No shame.

I’ve been there before homeless, staying with others just trying to get back on my feet. I’ve seen rock bottom. That’s why I do what I do… because I understand the different walks of life.

So when I say come eat, enjoy and let me treat you, I mean it. Let’s end this chapter the way it started with love, community and good food. 🙏🏾❤️

Thank You Liberty City

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s supported us from day one customers to the new faces that came through and all the amazing people it connected along the way.
Nothing but love. ❤️ As of November 1st I’ll be closing the restaurant for good. I won’t be placing any more truck orders so once we sell out that’s it. The love and support have meant the world to me but truthfully I’ve been losing trying to keep it going and it’s time to officially throw in the towel. To everyone who showed up, helped out or just shared a kind word/post thank you.

I appreciate every single one of you.
