Traces of Texas reader Peter Wright kindly shared this dynamite photo of a scene in the Country Tavern in Kilgore, Texas. Peter took this last year. I have never been there, but Peter says the brisket is excellent. I love it when y'all send in shots like this as I just keep adding to my list of places I need to visit when I travel through small town Texas. Doesn't this look inviting? And with good brisket, too boot!
