Taste of Hawaii 2026. Generally the posts are about the INSANE food and drink we have the privilege of trying. But, the hands and mouth were full and, quite literally, I had no thought of documenting anything. Only eating.

Until…the oratory senses took control for a bit. You can’t taste a picture but you sure can listen to a video and hear the sweet, sweet sounds of and .eclectic.808.

Gluttony at its best.

Mahalo Nui Loa to and .restaurantnbar for sharing the Aloha. Aaaaand that ridiculous watermelon salad. It was hands down the winner in my opinion.

I had to find out myself—and the hype is REAL.

Words, pictures, not even video can do justice to Sarper’s culinary mastery at in Lihue town. He’s got his kebab grilling skills down to a science, the pita is piping hot fresh, and the combo of sauces and spices couldn’t have been more perfect.

Open 10-2 Monday-Friday in the Hilo Hattie parking lot and also at Kapa’a First Saturdays.
