I just wanted to let all my FB friends know that I am a realtor now. I found a absolutely amazing mentor/boss in Gail Swanson. I can't thank her enough for taking me in and showing me the ropes. It's been a crazy year, just 11 months ago I closed Stella Blues Cafe and at the same time closed a huge part of my life for the last 24 years. I've felt every emotion in the book but am ready to start a new career and a new chapter in my life. Most of the people I know have supported my family and I for years with Stella's and we could not of stayed open for so many years without you, I can't thank you all enough. I hope I can continue to get support from my friends/family of Maui. If anyone is or knows someone buying or selling real estate on Maui I would love to assist.
I'm attaching my card so if anyone needs my info you will have it.

Well this feels good in a weird way. We have been closed for 2 1/2 months and I think what I miss most is seeing all the regular customers, the employees that I loved and my Greek salad wrap. It has been unreal to not have all the stress of running a business with such a huge overhead which I have been doing for 23 years. Getting to spend the whole summer with my kids, family and friends has been something I have learned is priceless. Money can't buy the memories and experiences I have been able to have with my kids.
I just happened to pick up a Maui Time today because curiosity got to me. It was a issue I would always look forward to seeing as a business owner. I think this is a new category and I hope it's one the other runner ups are ok being on. It's not easy to come to peace with losing a business you have made your life for so many years. But whomever voted for this I say Mahalo and I miss you also.

So just putting it out there a lot of the Stella's family will be at Kam 3 this Saturday at noon to hang out, BBQ, drink and talk story. Love to see anyone who want to come. I'm bringing a bunch of BBQ and beer. If anyone wants to bring anything your welcome or just love to see your smiling faces. Please only bring good vibes negativity will not be tolerated.

I'm very saddened to say. After 23 years Stella Blues Cafe is closing it's doors. We have put our landlords in a tough situation and we can't come to terms on a lease moving forward. For the record they have been there for us and worked with us numerous times over the years. I can't thank all of the people that have worked with and for us over the years and all the customers that have been loyal since I was a child. I have a very heavy heart but it's also a freeing feeling that I have not felt in my adult life. Not sure what to say but I have love for all my family and friends.
