Yes, you read right- we unfortunately will be closing our ‘doors’ after this week due to unexpected medical issues that require us to return to the mainland. We want to thank all of our truly amazing guests for their continued support and aloha- and hope to be back again one day! This Birthday Chef has to open at 12:30 today as we sold out of everything yesterday. He has been working straight through the night to make more fresh Mexikine Grindz from scratch just for you though! We do apologize for the late start. Aside from the past couple months (and currently as his sous is still on vacay until next week), Chef has been a one man show doing it all himself. I know it’s been crazy hard on him with countless sleepless nights and round the clock prepping/cleaning 6 & 1/2 days a week, but I couldn’t be more proud of his commitment to quality and to our local Maui farmers. You can taste his dedication in every bite. Chef Jesse, you created an amazing concept and worked your literal ass off for it every day and you deserve the best in life just like you strive to give the best to your awesome guests, sometime under threat of your own peril.
