Key Of Bones Curse of the Ghost Pirate Premiers October 2nd & 3rd at the Tennessee Willaim Theatre. Directed by Tony Armer the film was shot totally in Key West including the Half Shell Raw Bar.

The film follows a Key West waitress, a ghost-tour guide, and a visiting tourist who accidentally awaken a centuries-old curse tied to the infamous pirate Anne Bonny. This triggers a wave of supernatural chaos, including mischievous ghosts and vengeful spirits, threatening to turn Key West into a battleground between the living and the dead. The trio must race against time to break the curse before the island is consumed by paranormal mayhem, blending horror, comedy, and adventure

A new record was set today, Everglades Oysters picked up 11 / 32-gallon bins of oyster shells totaling 2145 pounds of oyster shells from the Half Shell Raw Bar. Seems that when it is a slower week in Key West our customers eat more oysters. The oysters are heading northwest to Everglades City and are not going into any landfills. Then after six months of sun, they will be used for an assortment of environmental projects.

Ever wonder where all the Half Shell's recycled oyster ends up? They are placed at a garden nursery in south Florida by Everglades Oysters. The Half Shell averages 3 tons of oyster shells each month. That is 6000 pounds of oyster shell that do not go into a landfill.

We meet the best people at the Half Shell Raw Bar. Ruth was visiting for the month from Texas and came in with a Half Shell license plate on her scooter. What a fun filled and crazy afternoon everyone had at the Half Shell as Wail's 99.5 FM Bill "Hoebee in the Afternoon" broadcast his show live from the Sailfish Bar at the Half Shell Raw Bar, there was a lot of great guests, giveaways and the ladies from Crown Royal stopped by with free tastings of Crown Royal Blackberry. All this to celebrate Key West's Bill Hoebee Day & The Half Shell Raw Bar Day,
We even had DJ & Radio Personality "Sweet G" as the Rock Lobster.
