🌱 What the heck is MATCHA?

The short answer - Green Tea!

Rather than steeping the leaves in water, matcha is the whole, dried leaves, ground into a very fine powder. That powder is whisked into hot water until smooth, and then added as a component to another liquid. Because you are consuming the whole leaf, matcha has higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, making it a true superfood.

Drinking matcha is a great way to get a little caffeine kick with ingredients you can really feel good about!

😉 WEDNESDAY WINK ;-)

I'm sure many of you have experienced an interaction with our bubbliest barista - Leah!! (For you regulars, Leah is Lucy's younger sister!)

Leah is a homeschool kid and also attends KHS part-time. She is very active with her dance group (teaching for 6 years!) and loves to participate in her families favorite past-time - motor bikes. (Her Dad works for Harley.) She plans to graduate early this year and get a jump start on her college education this winter at Moraine Park before heading off to a 4 year campus.

Another thing about Leah - she LOVES TO WORK! Running the bar and working the register are her favorite positions. She works hard at multitasking- keeping her station tidy amd giving special attention to each customer that walks in. Leah is a natural at customer service and thrives in the busiest of times.

If you see this little ray of sunshine, make sure to let her know what a great job she's doing!
