AK Pho Shawnee Authentic Pho Soup We all love Pho and we all know that Pho is life. The first dish was steak pho soup, and that first sip was amazing!

My life was forever changed when I was 21 and working for a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant in Port Orchard, WA - Pho Kai. Family owned business who showed the the ways of their kitchen and allowed me to taste test their menu to best be able to serve the people their food. After my first bowl I knew that I wanted to keep eating this soup every free shift meal - I was in love. Now that I am living in So

utheast Alaska, there are not very many places that sell this Thai/Vietnamese soup. Whenever I travel outside the state or up north, my first thought is where is the nearest Pho Restaurant. I began to start researching the spices, and studying different recipes, and remembering what that couple showed me in their restaurant in order to make this my own. I would cook for my household and work to perfect my recipe - after the many great comments I decided I wanted to try to sell Pho in my hometown, it was a hit and I sold out. After that successful sale, I decided lets try in Ketchikan - I sold out and received many great comments and requests to continue this sale. I am very interested in keeping up with this sale every week - I will continue to keep everyone updated when, where, what time. Thank you all again for the support

Big news from Pho’Get Me Not 🍜💗
I’ll be moving this summer, which means this winter & spring will be my final pop-ups for now. Every bowl served will help fuel the next chapter, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’m looking be forward to busy weekends, steamy pots, and sharing all the comfort before the move. Expect oxtails, ribs, brisket, and of course our signature steak pho, simmered low and slow with lots of love.

I’m currently cooking up a schedule and will share it soon. Thank you from the bottom of my broth for the continued support, kind words, and full bowls. This journey has been rich in flavor and even richer in heart.

And don’t worry… I’d pho real love to share my recipe for smaller pots 💗

Today’s sale filled my heart. I loved seeing all of you show up, and I truly appreciate the continued support. Thank you so much for your patience as well. The belt on my meat slicer snapped and I’m currently waiting on the replacement to arrive in the mail.

Normally I’m more prepared and ready to serve right away, but I worked with what I had and made it happen (shoutout to old-school knife skills 😅). I’m grateful it all came together, and even more grateful for your understanding and kindness.

Once the replacement belt comes in, I’ll be back with another sale 🍜 can’t wait to serve you again! 💕

Sorry for disappearing last winter. Life had other plans for me. Between surgery and planning my wedding ceremony, I had to hit pause after August when I hoped to finish out the year with more pop-ups. Thank you so much for your patience, love, and understanding 💛

To kick off the new year 2026, a dear friend reached out a few weeks ago about hosting a fundraiser for a pool tournament she will be attending, and I couldn’t say no. So we’re starting things off right and slurping for a cause!

Stay tuned for another post later tonight with the date and time. I can’t wait to be back and share a bowl with you all!
