“A Heroes Welcome” is bringing four powerful national memorials to Kernersville’s Oscar L. Joyner VFW Post 5352 for a three‑day event honoring those who served and sacrificed, including the Moving Vietnam Wall, the Traveling 9/11 Memorial, the Traveling Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Wreaths Across America Mobile Exhibit. This free community gathering invites families to reflect, remember, and teach the next generation about the true cost of freedom in a meaningful, up‑close way.

Our hearts are broken and prayers are being lifted for our neighbors in Lexington…Shoto Japanese, Lexington NC est 2001 and The Candy Factory! I cried this morning as I saw the videos and pics on Facebook. It was just 2 years ago next week when we had our fire! I guess it will always be a part of who I am! I want to take this time to again, thank our town…Kernersville, for showing up when we needed you the most! ❤️
