Franklin Square Deli www.franklinsquaredeli.com Greetings
Welcome to Franklin Square Deli, established in 1983 and still building 'em right almost 38 years later!. Carl Picelle

A Bit Of History
It sure has been a long run from 1983 to now. When I take a moment to really think hard about all I have seen from my vantage point behind the counter downtown on the main square of Kent, well, it is simply overwhelming. Literally, the number of customers served, exceeding at a guess, a million, is mind boggling. When considering that we have served to three generations of local patrons, I can’t help but to think about how I could not ever have really expected such an outcome on that day when the doors were unlocked for the first time and “The Deli” opened for business. What was true then is still true now, maybe even more so. Franklin Square Deli is dedicated to a finer quality product at the best and fairest price possible. You will find dedication to producing eye appealing food with the best and freshest ingredients available with a taste that is a step above the common. And we can turn on a dime! Food that takes a great deal of time to produce at other restaurants will be in your basket or packed in your bag, in just a short few moments. We are a friendly and productive staff in a casual, absolutely clean, enjoyable family atmosphere. Come in, feel comfortable, enjoy the motorsports and racing art and enjoy a taste of America... a GREAT SANDWICH! See you soon, and …

Thank you so much for your support!

We started at the Deli, now we're here!

October 11 is a special day here at The Deli. It's the day your favorite Deli couple made it official and tied the knot! 13 years married and 17+ years since we started working together behind the counter making sandwiches, bothering and flirting with each other.

When you find the perfect recipe you don't mess with it, and we've managed to cook up a great life with two amazing boys who are growing up at the Deli as well 🥰

Now, we have added an extended Deli Family, between our employees and our loyal customers. We love the Kent Community and couldn't be happier planting our roots here and keeping the Deli tradition alive for the next generation of college students and Kent families alike.

Happy Anniversary to us! We're taking a much needed day off, but our crew is holding it down, ready to serve you lunch! Have a great day!
