Father's Day Specials
We will be open on Father's Day to celebrate our Dads!
Special Hours:
Sunday, 6/21/26: OPEN 8am-1pm
Items we will have for this Sunday will include lots of croissant and danish, PRETZELS, pretzel dogs, cheddar jalapeno pretzels, pepperoni rolls, veggie rolls, cheddar sticks, boozy and fruity tarts, chocolate cake slices, simit bagels, cookies, scones and baguettes. Since we're only open a half-day, we will NOT be making Bread or Sandwiches, so please grab that during our usual hours Wednesday-Saturday. Quiche and unbaked Cinnamon Buns will be stocked Friday-Saturday, so come early for those since they're the type of thing you want to have at home ready for Sunday morning.
We have online pre-ordering ready for Sunday, Father's Day pickup only at www.bbo-curbside.com. If you would like to shop before Sunday, we are taking orders over the phone as usual and have lots of good things ready for walk-in service every day this week.
We have our most of our usual tarts this year: chocolate whiskey, lemon blueberry (new) and vanilla fruit. We are making extra croissants (especially chocolate and pretzel) and will have more than what is listed online (first come, first served for the extra croissants).
We also have some perfect Father's Day items available for shopping before Sunday morning. Our breads make amazing dinner sides if you're cooking for Dad any day over the weekend. We have cookies, buns of all types starting Thursday afternoon, blueberry lemon scones, quiche and more. We will also plan to have babka, which make for a nice sweet breakfast/brunch bread and those are ready Fridays, mid-afternoon (2pm ish?).

-Power Bars! Have you had these yet? They're made only with wholegrain flour (mostly rye) and packed full of seeds, nuts, dried fruit and chocolate (flavors change weekly). I love how filling, tasty and easy these are for some daytime fuel
-Chocolate Nutella Babka
-English Muffins. Anja spearheaded these and has made a lovely sourdough english muffin. We're baking them most Fridays and selling them in 4-packs.
-Museli baguettes (Saturdays)
-Decorated sugar cookies (by Ryleigh) are back!
-Cinnamon and sticky buns (all days of the week, including Sunday)
-Biscuits (Saturdays)
-Lemon shortbread
-Cinnamon "buffins" (donut muffins)
-Lemon curd and fresh fruit danish
-Cheesy crackers (baked most Wednesdays)
-Thin and crispy sourdough crackers (baked most Wednesdays)
-This week is a soup week from the Souper Sisters and we still have a good stash of their soups in the freezer
-Saturday night 4-8pm pizza special is our white pizza with grapes and prosciutto (call 330-474-7800 anytime to order pizza on Saturdays)

We will reopen Tuesday, 7/21, with our regular hours :)
Thank you all for your support and understanding while we take these much needed breaks for cleaning, resetting, and family time.
We have 3 weeks before break, so now is the time (depending on your freezer space) to stock up on your favorite breads, snacks and sweets. Feel free to ask the staff for any tips for storage. We also give away sourdough starter for free, so it could be a fun opportunity for you to give home baking a try and please let us know how it goes. It's so rewarding!
SECRET PIZZA
We've been sitting on some big news! Have you been missing the live fire pizzas from our old oven? Us too!
We are excited to announce Jud, Harrison (Jud's brother and our OG pizza night fire master), and Genevieve bought Good Day Oven in North Water Brewing Company from Gio DiMauro in May. Gio created Good Day Oven and began as a vendor at the Haymaker Farmers' Market. He grew into the space in North Water and was open there just over a year. We love the pizza Gio was making and his brand and vibe, we love the Brewery, and we have been having so much fun in there over the last month.
We would love for you to check us out next time you're in Kent. Currently, our hours for pizza service in North Water are: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm-9pm. Stay tuned as we plan to expand hours as we grown into the space more. While we highly recommend eating in and enjoying a beer with your pizza, we can do take out also! Some key features we think are super cool about Good Day Oven:
-The pizza dough is sourdough and made with organic flour
-Our pizza sauce is made with organic tomatoes
-We also have a fantastic Cesar salad, a new hummus platter (vegan! and includes the za'atar manakeesh bread we make), and more coming soon to the menu.
You may have some questions about if this changes BBO pizza night. Currently, the answer is no. We love what we're making and don't plan to change our pizza nights from their current glorious state.
