We have been processing this loss for a few days as it still does not seem real. It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share that Gino, the original Rumors Lounge owner and very close personal family friend, has left us to transition to Heaven. We will hold onto his memory forever as will also continue to carry his legacy here at 24’s Rumors Lounge. Cheers, Gino!

June 19, 1865, two years after President Abraham Lincoln presented the Emancipation Proclamation, slaves in Texas finally received word: They were free.

The fight for true freedom ever since has been continuous and full of barriers. Freedom is a thread, and a fight, woven through this nation's history and current political climate.

This Juneteenth, take action to celebrate and ensure true freedom for all.

"The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and hired laborer."

A team that has brought us FOUR years (since business inception) of service excellence awards. We are so blessed to have a team so dedicated to building an environment where we not only create an amazing food and service environment, but continue to give back to the community at every opportunity!
