❤️ Forever Part of the Johns Family ❤️

Some customers become so much more than customers — they become family. Today, we remember someone who was a part of our Johns family for so many years, and whose presence will be deeply missed.

One thing we will always remember is how much he loved his grandkids. He was so proud of them, and he never missed an opportunity to share pictures of them with us. You could see the love and joy they brought into his life every time he talked about them. ❤️

Those little moments and conversations meant more than he probably ever realized, and they are memories we will carry with us.

Thank you for being more than a customer to us. Thank you for being part of our story, our days, and our Johns family. The breakfast table won’t quite feel the same without you.

You will be missed more than words can say, and you will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully. ❤️🙏

I knew from the day I married you, Ricky, what kind of heart you had. ❤️

You don’t just talk about caring about people. You show it. You give your time, your energy, your effort, and sometimes even 7 hours on the road just to do something special for someone.

Driving 7 hours to cook for a man who is in the hospital may seem like a small thing to some people, but to me, it says everything about who you are.

This is the man I married. The man who believes that if you can do something good for someone, you should. The man who works hard, expects things to be done right, but at the end of the day, always has a heart for people.

I’m proud of you, Ricky. ❤️
And I’m proud that Johns Pancake & Waffle House gets to be part of moments like this because of you.

Sometimes the best things we can give someone aren’t found on a menu — they’re found in a little kindness, a little time, and a whole lot of heart. ❤️🥞

There are moments in history that become a part of all of us.

Today, we remember the innocent lives taken too soon, the families who lost someone they loved, and the brave men and women who gave everything while trying to save others.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

May we never forget the lives behind the numbers.
May we never forget the families left behind.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call.

Tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 AM, John’s Pancake House will be giving away 60 backpacks filled with school essentials for children getting ready to head back to school! 📚✏️🎒

We kindly ask that you take ONLY ONE backpack per child who is PRESENT. We want to do our best to make sure these backpacks go to the children who truly need them and that as many local kids as possible have the opportunity to receive one. ❤️

And we want to give a special THANK YOU to our local Walmart for helping us once again by putting all of these backpacks and school essentials together for us! 💙 We truly appreciate you always being willing to help us when we reach out and helping us make things like this possible for our community. One of our AMAZING customers thought he was going to get away from us singing 🎶 Happy Birthday and getting a face full of whipped cream 🤣🍦 simply because his birthday fell on the days we were closed…

BUT LITTLE DID HE KNOW… WE DON’T FORGET A BIRTHDAY AROUND HERE! 😏😂

So when we finally caught up with him, you KNOW we had to make up for lost time! 🎂🎉
