5 years ago Mike opened The Beanery in the middle of a recession, in the middle of nowhere. This little cafe that could has become a stop for people from all over the world. Today the doors close under the management of Mike (& Marilyn, despite her best efforts to stay out of it). Thanks to all who have helped make this dream a success; especially Marilyn and friends (Shelby Doan & crew). We're very proud of our dad!! (Love, Julie and Jaime, Mike's daughters and maintainers of this page).

Tuesday is the last day The Beanery will be open under the management of Mike & Marilyn. We would love to see you before then. We will be open Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday from 9-5. Thank you every one for your support and God Bless you and yours!!

As I'm sure you are aware, the government is "open" again. So Mike will be open for 2 more weeks and then retired!! The schedule is the same, Friday through Tuesday, 9-5. Stop in and say hi/good-bye if you get a chance.

We will be closed due to the "government shutdown" until further notice. Unless this continues until October 29th, at which time we will shut down permanently!

The countdown is on for Mike's retirement. Make sure you get in by October 29th to see him. The train station & Beanery are still closed Wednesday/Thursday. Hope to see you soon!

Just a reminder as you make your last summer plans; not only is The Beanery closed Wednesdays & Thursdays, but so is the entire Kelso Train Station. Plan accordingly! Outside restrooms are always open. Mike and Marilyn look forward to seeing you Friday through Tuesday, 9:00-5:00.
