Well, after 22 years of awesome SLOW SMOKED BBQ and USDA CHOICE GRADED Fire grilled steaks we are sorry to announce we are permanently closing Skeeter Barnes inKearney Nebraska

We have had a devastating loss of an absolutely key member of our team, and just don't see a way to carry on in the current environment.

We want to thank you all of you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all the support the community has shown us for the past 22 years. The Family Dinners, the Anniversary Meals, the Wedding Caterings, the Nebraska Cattlemen's Ball, sports teams, and endless other wonderful meals. it has been an amazing adventure!
I especially want to thank our incredible team for all the hard work and dedication they have shown over the years. Because of you it was all possible.

With a heavy heart, we close our doors.

-On to the next Chapter!

Due to a Devestasing Loss in our Skeeter Family, we will not be opened today, August 23rd.
Please let those close to you know how you feel about them, as Tommorrow is just not Guaranteed!

Come in, or pick up, a Bowl of Brisket Chili, or Loaded Brisket Chili Fries, or Brisket Chili Mac N Chz, or probably the BEST option, a Half Pound Brisket Chili Burger!

SORRY TO ALL SKEETERFANS, but with the roads and weather conditions, Skeeter Barnes is not going to open today Tuesday December 26th 2023.
We will be open tomorrow, Wednesday December 27th at 11:30.

Just a "HEADS UP" Skeeter Barnes will be closing for both Sunday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day ths year so our incredible team members can spend a little more time with their family and friends to enjoy what this season is all about!
If you were planning on grabing some Skeeter Gift Cards for stocking staffers, swing by before Sunday!!!
Of course, we will have them available after Christmas for anyone you forgot to shop and need a quick Gift Idea - and they are INCREDIBLY easy to wrap!
