A Key factor contributing to self-sabotage is negative self-talk, the inner dialogue of criticism and doubt that undermines confidence and capabilities. The best way to combat it is to become aware when it happens and immediately change your internal conversation.

As a personal development and transition coach, I constantly hear, " It's too late to change my life." (this mindset is driven by negative self-talk). This is the worst form of Self-Sabotage! I tell them my story as an example that there is always time to make positive changes and pursue your goals.

Their internal conversation needs to change; my age is an asset, rich with experiences and wisdom that empower me to make meaningful changes. Every moment presents a new opportunity to grow and transform because I desire to do so.
