Owners Bobby and Gina Miyashiro, in mid 1995, opened a tiny restaurant on the outskirts of South Kona, on the slope of Mauna Loa, dotted with the coffee plantations in Honaunau. With only a wooden sign, in the shape of a cup and saucer, marking its benign location, Keei Cafe became known as "a little gem in South Kona". In the latter part of 2006 a new building, larger dining room and new location, the new sign reads "Keei Cafe at Honakano". It is still "a gem".

This is a new FB page I'm creating for Keei Cafe. A place where I can share ALL the good things happening here. Introduce many of the fine people who frequent this unique Restaurant. Give you an opportunity to meet the "super fine people" who work here. I've been here a little over three years and together with my Class of '65 Brother, we share "our love for music", as you enjoy your fellowship together. "E KOMO MAI".
