Availability Update!! 💘

I wanted to give you all a more detailed availability update for the next few months!

First of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE making desserts for you guys, and I'm so grateful for every order and for everyone who follows along here. THANK YOU!! I LOVE YOU ALL 🥹🫶

Just as a reminder, I only take a few orders each week:) If you're thinking about placing an order, I always recommend reaching out as early as possible to make sure you can get a spot on my calendar! Yayy!! 🩵

Some dates book up quickly, while others stay open until much closer to the date, so it never ever hurts to ask :) Even if your event is only a few days away, you never know! 💘

Here are my current available dates for the next few months:
🌸 June 21–24
🌸 July 1–4 • Most dates from mid to late July are currently available
🌸 August 1–4 • August 7–13 • August 23–31
🌸 September has lots of availability so far!

On another note, I'm realizing it's more fun for you all when you get to know what's on the inside as well as the outside, so from now on I'll be sharing that too, like I used to! I saw someone on Instagram call it "cake guts" one time and I loved that so that's what I'll be calling the inside from now on hahahaa

Finally sharing my post from an event hosted by earlier this month! They put on the cutest event, filled with so many beautiful and delicious cakes and shared with great company!! 🫶 I can't wait until they do another!!

💘 Fun fact: This cake was made using the exact same bowl of buttercream! I wanted to show just how dark you can get buttercream without adding any extra color :) The only difference between the pink and coral shades is that I used my immersion blender to deepen the color. Yayy for immersion blenders!!
I go between the microwave method and immersion blender method to get those deeper colors depending on the quantity of buttercream, but the immersion blender method has to be my favorite!!

You can also see how I got the coolest two tone effect on the sides by doing the final pass with a warmed scraper! Its so pretty! I love using that technique when I'm going for that look on purpose, but it can be super frustrating when you're not.
If you need to warm the scraper to get final coat of buttercream smooth, it can deepen the color on the sides and create this effect unintentionally. That's another reason I love the immersion blender method with all your buttercream:) You know what the final color will look like, and you don't have to worry about that happening on accident! Warmed scraper or not, it will always stay the color you had it after blending!

I have so many desserts I can’t wait to show you guys from this past week, but first things first… I have a menu change going forward 💘

I’ve decided to take pies off my menu. Rip. I know it's sad haha:)

TBH, pies are almost always only ordered from me during the holiday season and only very occasionally at other times, so I decided to cut down and simplify my menu a bit.

!!!!! WITH THAT BEING SAID
I’ll still absolutely make a wedding pie for any couple who wants one instead of a wedding cake or cheesecake!! 🥧
ALSO there’s a good chance I’ll offer a pie or two on my annual holiday menu (October–Jan 1). Other than that, I’ll only be offering cheesecakes, cakes, and tarts for year round desserts :)
