The June Menu is SO good! ✨

I hope y’all love this monthly menu as much as we do! So much goes into every menu change:

• Dreaming up the drinks
• Purchasing inventory we don’t normally carry
• Taste testing
• Figuring out pricing
• Designing the physical menu
• Entering everything into our point of sell & online ordering
• Creating recipe sheets
• informing the baristas on how each drink is made (thankfully that part was easy this month)
• Posting before the menu drop
• Taking all the pictures

It’s a labor of love, and I’m so excited for y’all to try these drinks!

Anytime I ask what I owe & they say “just gift card” they automatically become my favorite business 🤣🤪 Of course I insisted & paid a little “real” money too, because unfortunately Eleanor’s gift cards can’t pay the electric bill! BUT this looks SO good, & is a far cry from my DIY menu board, I’m the queen of DIY & saving $, but some things are better left to the professionals!

This market has been the biggest blessing to our little business over the past year & probably the most labor intensive thing I will ever willingly sign myself up for WEEKLY! I LOVE market Saturday, it’s like we have our own little mini shop in Mabank & every Saturday for 4 hours, as soon as our machine heats up on a Saturday in Mabank the line starts & rarely dwindles. It fills my cup in a way, which is odd due to how much labor goes into each Saturday! Anywho, enjoy my random pics from the past year of markets, & look no further for plans this Saturday!

Bianca has been with Eleanor’s for TWO years - since the very beginning! She has been one of the biggest blessings to the shop. She shows up on time EVERY single time, keeps everything stocked, cleans the things that go unnoticed, and goes the extra mile every day. She’s reliable, trustworthy, steady, and FULL of personality!

She knows my next move without me even having to speak, & that alone is SO valuable. We are beyond thankful for all that she does for Eleanor’s every single day 🤍

We are set up at the this Saturday with the coffee cart until 12 PM & the shop is open AS ALWAYS! ☕️

This week has me T I R E D. If you haven’t noticed, I’m pretty sure I haven’t posted or updated y’all on anything in a WEEK.

My week has consisted of:
• school deliveries
• shift work
• endless computer work
• making decisions for the buildout of our NEW coffee trailer
• deep cleaning the shop - inside AND out

Bobby said it looks like I’m getting ready to sell out with how much I’ve been cleaning 🤣

Sometimes running a business isn’t the fun, cute social media post, sometimes it’s wiping baseboards, picking weeds, cleaning windows, & mowing - (all of above I did this week)🤣

Anywayssss, come see us today whether it’s at the market or the shop 🫶

Welcome to Eleanor’s espresso class! I tell every new hire “I don’t believe there’s a such thing as AWFUL, coffee I think there’s a such thing as shops not having their espresso shots dialed” I mean there’s definitely some very awful coffee out there - but you get my point. SO here’s the deal espresso shots change with humidity, the door being left open, weather, time of day, or whatever reason it can come up with. We load our porta filter with 20 grams of dry grinds & expect to receive 40 grams of espresso BUT that requirement has to be met within 24-30 seconds. We don’t have our machine set to automatically shut off after a certain time or water volume has passed, we personally start and stop EACH shot. If our shots get off track during the middle of a rush you best believe we are STOPPING & changing the grind until it’s perfection. It’s a true science that we take a LOT of pride in (& sometimes crushes my pride when a barista pours my shots out 🤣) & I believe sets our flavor profile apart from others!

This week has been BUSY in the BEST way!!!
We had 3 cart events for Kaufman Schools! & Managed to get 368 😳 drinks delivered to teachers! + keeping up with the shop! (which is easier now days that I have the BEST baristas) What a honor & blessing this week has been!
I would say it’s time to rest, BUT you can catch us at the Saturday 8am-12pm + Bobby will be playing live music at TXM Lindale Saturday night as well! He used to play music EVERY Friday/Saturday & then the coffee shop opened and has kept both of us BUSY!
