KEEPING MEXICAN CUISINE AUTHENTIC
After Mr Hector Portillo opened Marrietas Restaurant in San Diego in 1992, the restaurant became an instant success. The signature dishes were becoming so popular that Mr Portillo decided to open Mariachis Authentic Mexican Restaurant in 2006 in the town of Lihue. The signature recipes came from his grandmothers passion to cook authentic mexica

n cuisine in the state of Guerrero Mexico. The restaurant was received so well by the community of Kauai that Mr Portillo decided to open a second location in the Heart of Historic Kapa’a Town. This area was in need of a warm and friendly place with excellent food. For over a decade, Mariachis has served the Kauai Community with great success. The combination of flavors and the great mexican ambiance is what makes Mariachis a very special Authentic Mexican Restaurant. Mariachis takes great pride in serving Authentic Mexican Cuisine to locals and visitors. We cant wait to Welcome you and your family !
