We are honored to receive this Innovator Award from and Chase, along with 40 other selected restaurants and cafes. 🏆 We will be using our grant funds awarded to work in the spirit of collaboration together on FAIR lease agreements in Kaua’i. We know we have been quiet during the transition, but our teams at , and have been busy settling into new kitchens and growing into our next chapter. Now that spring is here, excited to share more about this FAIR lease process and what we all have been up to! This month we’ll be on a panel with talking more about small business lease structures that work, and how we’re exploring in a collaborative way. 🤙

Thank you to everyone who has reached out the past two months, wondering the where and when for our new location. We miss you! For real. These last months we’ve settled into new commercial kitchen spaces to keep producing. We’ve had holiday catering, pop-ups at and and a little more downtime to enjoy our families. Collab Cafe officially made our move out of our Waipouli location. 🥲 A big update! We are not moving into the space, things have changed since we announced and they will continue running it and we are still looking 👀 for just the right spot. We are very grateful is sharing her commercial kitchen with and during this. Wow. Turns out our last day was way more celebration of life than a funeral vibes! But doesn’t mean we didn’t cry some too 🥹😭😂. Our biggest brunch day yet. All the hugs. All eggs. All the coffee. All the love. A closing improv song we may just have to record. All the babies we birthed while also running a cafe (3 of them between us!)There is more to say, but right now soaking in gratitude for you, for making this space with us, and all we learned and grew together. Mahalo to everyone that shared an opportunity for a space for us for the next chapter, we looked at many, but the details had to be just right. We learned sticking to your values may close some doors, but it opens others. Taking it all to our new space, as Judy graciously hands over the space to her cafe at so she can focus on wholesale and her family’s health. Now it’s time for a move, speed renovations, and we’ll document as we go along until our doors open again in December (exact date tbd!)
