Nour's KC Lebanese inspired eatery located in Westport, Kansas City. Lebanese-inspired food is food of the heart — meant to be shared, passed, dipped, savored.

It’s comfort food, community food, food that tells a story. For Chef Marwan, it was also healing food. He returned to the flavors of his childhood: roasted eggplant, bright herbs, warm spices, hand-rolled grape leaves, slow-cooked stews. Every dish at Nour’s is an offering — not just of flavor, but of memory, resilience, and love. Nour’s is named after Chef Marwan’s daughter, Nour, whose name mean

s “light” in Arabic. She was 29 when she passed away in 2018 — full of warmth, compassion, and the kind of presence that made people feel truly seen. Her spirit is the soul of this restaurant. Nour’s was born from loss, but lives in love. It’s a space where strangers become family, where music, food, and art bring people together, and where generosity is a guiding value. Chef Marwan gives back in every way he can — offering meals to those in need, supporting local causes, and building a restaurant that serves not just food, but community. He gives because Nour no longer can — and through his giving, her light continues to shine. Our hope is that when you walk through our doors, you feel at home — embraced, fed, and reminded of what really matters.

Chef Marwan Chebaro’s vision brings new life to the restaurant spot atop the Park 39 welcome center in Midtown, which previously housed Plexpod Westport Commons and dining concepts like The Sundry and Canteen. The fare: Lebanese cuisine with a side of community.
