First signs of peppers of the season! Swing by the KC Farm School at Gibbs Road to get some, they also have asparagus and the end of spring vegetables.

Regeneratively grown wheat.

Time.

This is the bread your great great great grandma was making while Dad was tending the fields. Why gold prospectors in Alaska slept with their sourdough starter under the covers. Milled and sifted to keep some bran in it, for flavor and because, sometimes, all they might eat is bread and it needed more nutrition. We buy the wheat from our miller, Fyler Farms, who started milling on their farmstead to be connected to their father's farm in the Kansas heartland.

Swing by Mission KS Farmers Market tonight in Broadmoor Park for bread, veggies, tunes and suds from Rockcreek Brewing Company. 4:30 to 8:00.

Back in action this week!

Catch us back popping up with the Farm School tomorrow from 3:30 till 7. Looking for a quick stop to buy some great produce grown by , fewer crowds and quick lines? This is the hook-up. Like popping in on a weekday morning to your favorite grocery store, you can make it in and out with no distractions. Take a stroll through their farm across the street to peak what might be on sale next week.

And we will be back at on Thursday from 4:30 to 8. Food trucks, music, beer tons of vendors and fun to be had. Come hang out and sing along. Don't forget, this has moved to Broadmoor Park for the year while they do infrastructure construction on Johnson Drive, which means lots of green space to play in and the market staff has tons of events planned to take advantage of it!

We got the late spring/early summer goodness at the ready, so look forward to strawberry rhubarb cake and garlic scape focaccia.

We will be popping up tomorrow at Farm Pop-up shop! While they aren't quite ready for a *full* market, they are letting us swing in with some bread and pastries.

So swing in Wednesday between 3 and 7 if you have missed our fresh baked goods, and see what their shop has on offer. I got some swiss chard and spring peas last week that were amazing.

Can't make it this Wednesday? We plan to be there every Wednesday going forward, and we have starting next week in the beautiful and spacious Broadmoor Park.

Look at all that space!

We are making plans for the Market season, and are excited to be back at .

The market will be on the move this summer to Broadmoor Park, which is less than one mile away from the ole spot on Johnson Drive. The Market crew has done a great job of finding ample parking, there will be lots more green space to run around and play, great local brews from and , and lots of us returning vendors like , and .

We get rolling out here the first Thursday in June, so make sure to follow Mission Market for parking maps and other announcements, we will have more announcements coming soon with other events and markets.

Join us Saturday at for our Midwest Christmas Dinner Party!

Think "small town church pot luck" but with great beers on tap.

Along with our regular selection of breads for you to take home, we will have; ham balls, pretzels and beer cheese, loose meat sandwich sliders, Minnesota sushi, cheesy potatoes and who knows what else.
