Hot summer weather and cold treats go hand in hand. Whether you prefer real ice cream or a great value we're here to help. We have pails of Blue Bunny frozen dessert on sale for $5.99, but with our digital app you can get $2 off one making it just $3.99! Have you noticed that your ice cream doesn't taste as good as it used to? That's because most "ice creams" are no longer ice cream. They no longer meet the legal requirements to be called ice cream so they are now labeled as "frozen dessert." Fortunately, a few brands, such as Hudsonville, still make true ice cream. If you look at the label the first ingredients are milk and cream (compared to frozen desserts that have skim milk as the primary ingredient and if they have real cream it is way down the list).

Be sure to check out one of the many flavors of Hudsonville that are on sale this week. It is the go to in our house and my favorite is the Caramel Deer Traxx. I just checked and so far this year I've purchased 19 of these (but don't tell my wife) in addition to several other flavors. I'm sure you won't be disappointed because you can taste the difference and you may be like me and never go back to those frozen desserts again.
