Buzz’s Original Steakhouse is proud to announce a sustainability partnership with Full Circle Farm, a local composting operation that diverts food waste from the landfill and transforms it into nutrient-rich compost. This collaboration positions Buzz’s as one of the first, and possibly the very first, restaurants on Oʻahu to implement a full food-waste-to-compost initiative.

Community members will soon have the opportunity to purchase “Bags of Leftover Love” for $15, bringing Buzz’s food-waste-turned-plant-food directly into their gardens.

Buzz’s will be closed today so our team can enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. We will be open for normal hours tomorrow.

As we celebrate this season, we’re especially grateful for 64 incredible years on the beach. Mahalo for being part of our Buzz’s ʻohana and for supporting a legacy that’s been woven into Kailua since 1961.

Ed Furuike, a Honolulu-born artist discovers his passion for painting with a palette knife in 1975 and has since created over 4,000 works featured in collections worldwide. Guided by his belief in faith, passion, and fun, Ed finds joy in both painting and sharing his creativity with others.
