This Friday and Saturday: Lele's Bakery comes to Homegrown!

We think it's never too early for real fruit ice cream, but if you're craving a different breakfast treat, we've got you covered!

We were lucky to have Adriana, the creator of Lele’s Bakery, as our vendor neighbor at Keauhou Farmers Market… and we've been addicted to her delicious baked goods ever since!

Come out Friday and Saturday for fluffy cinnamon rolls, banana and chocolate zucchini bread, coffee cake, and the most delicious ube cookies you've ever tasted!

Festival season is kicking off with Kona Pride 2025 this weekend at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Beachfront hotel! Trying to figure out your healthcare insurance options but don't know where to start? Come on down to the Homegrown kiosk this Thursday to get your questions answered by our friends at Kōkua Services Partnership 😄

KSP can help you navigate the process and help determine whether you're eligible for Med Quest or Medicare... if you are, they can even help you apply!

We'll be hosting the KSP booth from 10am-2 pm at the Homegrown kiosk on Thursday, and donating all the day's profits to the incredible work they do at Kumukahi Health & Wellness.

It's also the first day of the Lili'uokalani Canoe Race, so enjoy the action at the pier and have a local real fruit ice cream for a good cause!

We'll miss ya this weekend, but we'll be back to our regular hours on Wednesday, 8/27. Hope to see you then!

Join us for ice cream while contributing to an important cause!

We're donating all profits from today's sales to Aloha Latinos, a local organization that provides support to Latinx members of Hawai'i Island's community, especially those impacted by the recently escalated immigration actions.

Children, parents, and honest hard-working neighbors alike have been swept up in these actions, and fear has driven many others into hiding. Families have been ripped apart or lost their source of income.

Aloha Latinos advocates for these folks by connecting them with legal aid, providing food and other essentials when they are too afraid to return to work, and showing up when immigration officials arrive without warrants.

When our neighbors are detained and deported, it affects us all... for example, when local farmers lose their workforce, the price of locally grown food goes up... something to remember while enjoying a Kona coffee!

We'll have a QR code at the kiosk for direct donations, or visit Aloha Latinos website linked in the comments. You'll also find news coverage that describes the impact of ICE raids on the Big Island
