Genuine 100% Pure Kona Coffee is highly prized throughout the world for its full bodied smooth taste. Only true Kona Coffee is grown on the cool slopes of Hualalia and Mauna Loa Mountains in rich volcanic soil and afternoon cloud coverage. Coffee cultivated in the North and South districts of Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii is the only coffee that can truly be called and labeled "Kona Coffee". Kona coffee is hand picked, pulped, dried and hulled right here on the Big Island. Then the beans are sorted into different grades by size and shape. The top of the line Kona Coffee is peaberry. A peaberry bean grows only at the tips of the Kona Coffee branches. We roast ours as a dark roast. Peaberry is very smooth with no acid after taste. Only about 5 percent of the total Kona Coffee harvest is peaberry. Top grades (in descending order) include Extra Fancy, which is the only grade we specialize in, Fancy, No. 1 and Prime. All of our flavored coffees are medium roasted and naturally flavored. Our 100% Pure Kona Coffee Decaf, is Swiss water processed in regular and flavored.
