Congratulations Chef Tylun Pang of Fairmont Kea Lani. These are lobster tails are from Tropic Fish Maui that are going to be featured in Chef Pang’s annual Executive Chef cookbook with proceeds to charity.

Meet Victoria Keanaanina, Sales Manager at Tropic Fish Maui

Victoria “Vicky” originates from San Diego where she was a sales manager with a cable company.
While on the mainland, she met her husband John who is from Kona, Hawaii. They moved to Maui where he accepted a job as the Operations Manager for Times Mirror Cable on Maui.

Vicky went to work for Fresh Island Fish in 1992 for 10 years then as a Sales Manager with Valley Isle Seafood and was employed with them for 15 years. She also had a Seafood Deli she operated as well as a delivery service for the seafood business that was incorporated with Valley Isle Seafood.

She moved to Tropic Fish Maui when they opened the new facility and processing plant in Kahului as their Sales Manager over a year ago. “I love this industry and I have always loved sales. There is always something new and exciting to offer the accounts. The relationships I have made over the past 25 years with these accounts are now like my family”, states Vicky.

Maui Fresh Streatery ‘s Chef Kyle Kawakami is the recipient of the Aipono Awards for 2015, 2016, 2017.
Chef Kyle was formerly the instructor for Maui Culinary Academy and has been featured on the Food Network two times. Visit him as he rotates the menu every two weeks!
