Sometimes you wonder if people truly understand what you’re trying to create.
And then you wake up to messages like these. ❤️
Last evening, several of our guests took the time to send us their thoughts about their night at The Historic Sims House. I read every one of them, and I can’t tell you how much they mean to me.
They talked about the intimacy of the house. The food. The service. The history. One guest said being here “brought me back to home.” Another shared how meaningful it was, as a multi generational Florida native, to dine somewhere his grandfather and great grandfather might have enjoyed.
And another called places like ours “the heart beats of their community.”
That one really stayed with me.
Because this is exactly why we do what we do.
We never set out to be the biggest restaurant, the busiest restaurant, or to be everything to everyone. We wanted to preserve a special piece of Jupiter, open its doors, and create a place where people could slow down, share a meal, make a memory, and feel something.
To our guests from last evening thank you. Thank you for seeing what we’re trying to preserve and for appreciating the passion behind it.
And to our entire Sims House family, thank you for making our guests feel at home.
Messages like these remind me that this little old house is doing exactly what it was meant to do — bringing people together.
From my family to yours, thank you for allowing us to continue sharing this very special piece of Jupiter. ❤️
