🥉🥉 Congratulations, Jimmy! 💪🏽

Everyone at Jorge’s Mexican Kitchen wants to congratulate our friend Jim Cortez on an incredible showing at Mr. Mérida 2026 in Yucatán, Mexico!

In his very first bodybuilding competition, Jimmy brought home 3rd place in Classic Physique Novatos AND 3rd place in Físico Veteranos — two categories, two trips to the podium! 🏆

Stepping onto the competition stage for the first time takes courage. Walking away from that first show with two podium finishes says a whole lot about the discipline, hard work, and dedication Jimmy put into getting there.

We couldn’t be prouder to see all that work pay off.

We’re patiently waiting for an autographed picture to hang behind the bar. Longhorn_Cafe tells us that you may owe them a photo for their Veteran Wall too. No pressure 😉

Tonight kicks off another season of Jones Longhorn Football, and we’re excited to cheer on our boys!
