Hi!! A bit late in posting because I have really relished living in the moment. We have just passed the 4 month point in our amazing trip and we couldn’t be happier. It was a leap of faith but a risk worth taking. Never a second thought. These pics are from our last stop in Menton, France. Taken a month ago. What a gorgeous spot near the border of France and Italy on the Mediterranean Lemons are the star here and as you can see so was the Vongole! Ciao for now!!

Our adventure in Umbria is grounded in our 8 week stay at Casa Rondini an agriturismo in Umbria. An agriturismo is a working farm or vineyard that offers accommodations for guests. Ours has wine, olive oil, hens and a garden of ever revolving herbs and veggies. It is heaven. Winnie especially loves the hens and rooster. Ciao

A few more. From Aix. The sun is like a hug…and the food and wine are like no where else. I savored raspberries this morning that tasted like raspberry candy. Sweet story (we have a few!). Neither Fred nor I have had a haircut , much less color(not Fred) in 3 months. I ventured to a small French hair salon with all fingers crossed. No one spoke English and I know next to nothing in French. It was like the movie Steel Magnolias when all the women in Town gather at the home salon and gossip and laugh. It was wonderful. I had a great time. Fred came back later in the day for his touch up. Starting to get to know our way around and loving the specialness of this place. Slower. Softer.

A week of markets! As the sun came out in Provence the markets started to bustle!! We visited Aix en Provence twice, Isle Sur la Sorgue, Eygalieres and St Remy. Also had lunch in Goult and sunset rose in Menerbes. France in the spring is a very good idea🇫🇷
