This has been going on since the jump and jive of the Jazz Age, when a young man named Samuel Kobrick began roasting coffee on Old Slip near the bustling Manhattan seaport. Sam’s impeccable brews, brilliantly sourced from around the world, quickly became the talk of the town with the city’s most famous restaurateurs. For nearly 100 years now, a steady succession of Kobricks have kept our hometown buzzing – perking up the discerning palates of our friends in four-star restaurants and local coffeehouses alike.
