Jericho Country Store Apartment for Rent!
Available Mid-October, Early November
**It seems that we have had a lot of comments on this post. And some are quite negative. Which is really unfortunate because it's a great space, and I hate justifying my rate - but let me break it down for you.
The apartment is over 2000 square feet, the utilities include electricity (which is over $200 a month for the space), heat/hot water (assume it will be around $300 (more if the price doesn't go down) a month and will be on for at least 7 months), wifi ($60-75 per month), trash removal, plowing add in another $100 for these conveniences. Take out the utilities and the apartment for a 2 bedroom with additional office space is about $2000 per month which is absolutely on par with the market and Vermont. We have to include the additional costs because of the way the store is laid out. Happy to remove all these options, and the apartment would be $2000.00 and you could take care of the rest on your own!**
There IS NO SMELL from the store for those worried that the store would make it be any different.
The Jericho Country Store is renting the partially furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment located above the store.
It is in a well maintained space with new bathroom, 2 bedroom with a small office (NOT TO BE A BEDROOM) with space for 2 cars.
The apartment has a lovely back yard.
There is a washer/drier in the unit. It includes a mudroom entering upstairs for outdoor gear, and a shared space that the store uses for additional storage. Use of space is allowed within reason.
It features an open floor plan kitchen dining room and a large living room.
The apartment is located in the desirable Center of Jericho within 7 minutes drive to I89, MMU and Essex. It is located on the second floor of the building, no handicap entry is available.
Primary bedroom has closet, smaller bedroom does connect to primary bedroom and has a wardrobe.
We do have it partially furnished and this can be negotiated.

$2,600 per month including utilities, we are asking for first and last month's rent with a $500 refundable deposit.
The road is plowed but tenant is responsible for shoveling entry into apartment.
