Meet Samantha “Sam” Schulman, Credit Manager/Order Taker, and part of the third generation of the MRS family.
Sam grew up listening to her father, MRS owner Robert Schulman, take customer calls from the car, at home, and even during family vacations. Now that she works beside him, she has a new appreciation for the dedication it took to help build MRS into the company it is today.
“Carrying on the family business means everything. It means making my father proud, showing him that the company is in good hands, and taking care of a carefully built legacy.”
In her year and a half with MRS, Sam has learned that bakery distribution moves quickly and depends on teamwork. From the order takers and salespeople to the drivers, warehouse team, credit department, and owners, everyone has to communicate and solve problems together.
When she is not helping customers, Sam loves reading, creating fashion and personal-style content, and baking what she describes as a mean peanut butter blossom cookie.
We are proud to introduce Sam and grateful to have her helping shape the next generation of MRS Baking Distribution.
