🌟 WE’RE ASKING OUR WEDL’S COMMUNITY FOR YOUR VOTE! 🍔 🍨
This one is incredibly special to our family. ❤️
Our son, Edison, is part of Vision Forward’s BE SEEN campaign a campaign created to challenge perceptions, increase representation, and show the world that people who are blind or visually impaired deserve to be seen, included, represented, and celebrated.
And now… BE SEEN is in the running for a Shorty Award! 🏆
As many of you know, Edison is completely blind but blindness is only one part of who he is. He is funny, musical, curious, determined, and capable of so much. Campaigns like BE SEEN matter because representation has the power to change the way people see blindness and disability.
For us, this is so much bigger than an award.
It’s about a little boy growing up in a world where we never want his blindness to determine how big he is allowed to dream. 💙 💭
It’s about every child and adult with a visual impairment being represented not for what they can’t see, but for everything they bring to this world.
And it’s about making sure they are never overlooked.
✨ They deserve to BE SEEN. ✨
We would be incredibly grateful if our Wedl’s community would take a minute to VOTE for the BE SEEN campaign and help amplify this message far beyond our little corner of Wisconsin.
